COVID-19 UPDATE: COVID-19 is still in circulation. Although the requirement to test if you have an infection is not currently required, healthcare and close-contact service appointments obviously come with additional precautions.
SCREENING: I follow guidelines from my professional body to risk assess treatments to ensure that attending an in-person appointment is safe and suitable for you. Currently I am not required to screen you for COVID19 symptoms before every appointment. However please be vigilant.
COVID (and general sickness) policy: IF YOU ARE AT ALL UNWELL PLEASE CANCEL YOUR APPOINTMENT. Please be vigilant as to how you are feeling and cancel if you aren’t feeling 100%. Do not attend with cold symptoms, sniffles, a cough or sore throat. If you arrive for a treatment with any symptoms I may ask you to test and reserve the right to reschedule your treatment, so please contact me before your appointment if you have any doubts.
MASK UPDATE: Masks are currently not mandatory for treatment, although I may be wearing one. This may change and I follow national guidance in this regard. I can provide you with a disposable medical grade face mask (free of charge) for your visit.
ONLINE APPOINTMENTS: an online consultation service is available. If you not able to come in for a face to face appointment I can offer an alternative arrangement of an online video call assessment with advice and exercise prescription via the Rehab My Patient platform instead - please contact me to discuss arranging an online/videocall appointments. You do not need any software or apps, just a reliable broadband connection and your own device or PC with built in camera and audio/microphone. You will receive an email with a link to open a video call at the scheduled time. You are welcome to have someone to help you with the technical and practical aspects of a video call. If you aren’t comfortable with this I can arrange a telephone call.
